The dishwasher fills too slowly during the wash cycle.
What F8 E1 means.
F8 E1 reports a slow fill. The dishwasher is getting water but not enough of it in the allowed time. The fault usually sits in the water supply: a supply valve only partly open, low house pressure, or a restriction in the inlet hose or screen. A weak water inlet valve can also slow the fill. The cycle stretches out while the control waits for the tub to reach level.

Open the supply valve all the way and confirm strong pressure at the tap.

Ease the dishwasher out and straighten the inlet hose.

Shut off the water and clean the inlet screen.

Run a cycle and listen for a normal fill.

If F8 E1 stays, the inlet valve should be tested.
