Corona del Mar is our home base. The shop is at 3334 East Coast Hwy, Suite 360, between Marigold and Marguerite, five minutes from the PCH side of Newport Coast and ten from Bayshores. That proximity is the practical reason most CdM repairs finish faster than the rest of the service area.

The housing stock here splits cleanly. The Village has compact post-war bungalows and a lot of remodeled-but-original kitchens running mid-tier brands a decade or two old. The bluff-side neighborhoods (Cameo Shores, Cameo Highlands, Spyglass Hill, Harbor View Hills) lean toward built-in Sub-Zero refrigerators, Wolf ranges, and Thermador wall ovens.

What we see most: Sub-Zero condenser coil and fan failures from coastal corrosion (especially Cameo Shores), Wolf bake-element burnouts after five to eight years of regular use, and Whirlpool front-loader drum bearings on washers in the older Village homes.

Every truck carries the common parts for those repairs, so most calls close on the first visit. Diagnostic is $65, waived with repair. Every fix carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor, in writing.

Do you service the older homes in The Village?
Yes. The single-story homes between Heliotrope and Goldenrod often still run 20+ year-old Whirlpool, GE, or KitchenAid appliances. We carry parts for those (control boards, drum bearings, igniters) and we'll tell you honestly when a unit is past worth-repairing.
What about built-ins in Cameo Shores and Spyglass Hill?
Built-in Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador are common in the bluff homes. We service those (we're not factory-authorized, see below). Most calls finish on the first visit because we stock the common compressor relays, fan motors, and control boards.

No. We are not factory-authorized and not affiliated with Sub-Zero, Wolf, or Thermador. We service those brands because we've invested in the parts inventory, the diagnostic tools, and the in-home repair history.

  • Our ice maker in our GE Profile refrigerator stopped working. We contacted several vendors through Yelp and Esquire was quick to respond and were able to come out the next day. Our ice maker was back up and running right away! They were able to buy the proper part and install it all in one day. They were courteous and reasonably priced. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went.
