UE appears on Kenmore washers built by LG, which carry a model prefix of 796. It is an unbalanced load warning, meaning the washer detected uneven drum movement during spin. The machine adds water and tries to redistribute the laundry, and posts the code when it cannot balance the load. Bulky single items and an unlevel cabinet are the common triggers.
