Wolf Range and Cooktop Repair in Orange County

Wolf dual fuel range with red knobs in a residential Orange County kitchen

Wolf ranges anchor a particular kind of cooking: the red-knob crowd that sears, simmers low, and runs the convection oven hard. When a 36-inch dual-fuel or a 48-inch with griddle stops working right, the fault is usually in one of three places: the spark/ignition system, the gas valves, or the oven controls. Pinning down which one keeps the stove and range (or cooktop, if it’s a rangetop) running instead of the cook ordering takeout for a week.

Wolf faults we see most often

  • Burner won’t light or sparks continuously. The spark module is the usual culprit. We also check the igniter electrodes, the harness, and whether moisture from cleaning has shorted a switch under the bezel.
  • Simmer burner won’t hold a low flame. The simmer-side gas valve is the part that fails. On Wolf dual-stack burners the inner ring is fed by its own valve, and a worn or contaminated valve drops out at low settings.
  • Convection oven heats unevenly or runs loud. Convection fan motor bearings wearing out, or a failed convection element. We test both before recommending a part.
  • Oven doesn’t heat / displays a service code. Broil or bake element open, oven temp sensor out of spec, or the wall oven control board (the cause Wolf owners least want to hear, but it does happen).

OEM parts for Wolf

Wolf spark modules, gas valves, igniters, oven sensors, and convection motors come through Sub-Zero/Wolf’s distribution channel. Common parts ship in 1-3 business days; specialty parts on older 30-inch dual-fuel models can run longer, and we let you know up front.

What we service

Wolf gas ranges, dual-fuel ranges, induction ranges, gas and induction cooktops, wall ovens, and warming drawers.

Independent service

Esquire is an independent shop. We are not factory-authorized for Wolf, not Wolf certified, and not Wolf trained. We’re an experienced Orange County repair company that works on Wolf ranges and cooktops regularly with OEM parts, mostly in Newport Beach and Corona del Mar.
