A problem has been detected with the water heater circuit.
What HE means.
On Samsung washers HE, shown as HC on newer models, is a heating fault. It appears on models with an internal water heater for sanitize and hot cycles. The control found the heater drawing the wrong current or a temperature sensor out of range, so it stops the cycle. A failed heating element or thermistor is the usual cause.
