The exhaust thermistor is open or reading out of range.
What F22 means.
F22 appears on Whirlpool-built Kenmore dryers, model numbers starting with 110, and points to the exhaust thermistor that reads outlet air temperature. The control raises F22 when it reads the sensor as open or out of range. A loose connector, a broken wire, or a failed sensor all read the same. With no trusted exhaust temperature the dryer stops the cycle.
