KitchenAid Oven Error Code F6 E0
Last updated:
The control lost track of the real-time clock signal.
What F6 E0 means.
F6 E0 on a KitchenAid oven is a clock or timer circuit fault inside the control. The board uses a steady clock signal to time bake, broil and clean cycles, and it has lost that reference. The oven cannot run timed cycles reliably with this fault. It almost always traces to the control board.
Most common causes.
-
Failed electronic oven control board
-
Internal clock circuit fault
-
Power interruption to the control
-
Loose harness connection at the board
Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.
-
Power the oven off at the breaker for five minutes.
-
Restore power and reset the time of day on the display.
-
Watch whether F6 E0 returns after the reset.
-
Leave the oven unused if the code stays.
-
Schedule service for the oven control board.

Ivan is the only repairman I would ever trust with our appliances! We have used him 3 times (for our dryer, our dishwasher, and most recently our oven). We called him when our oven unexpectedly stopped working and he got us scheduled right away and had it fixed immediately! He is prompt, incredibly knowledgable, very friendly, reasonably priced, and honest! Look no further if you have any appliance repair needs! Thank you again Ivan!! - Kate

Our ice maker in our GE Profile refrigerator stopped working. We contacted several vendors through Yelp and Esquire was quick to respond and were able to come out the next day. Our ice maker was back up and running right away! They were able to buy the proper part and install it all in one day. They were courteous and reasonably priced. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went.
