Wolf Oven Error Code F1
Last updated:
The oven control detected a general control fault.
What F1 means.
F1 on a Wolf oven is a general control fault. The board caught a problem during a self-check and stopped the cycle. It can point at the control board, or at an input the board reads as out of range. A power-cycle may clear a one-time glitch, but a code that comes back needs service.
Most common causes.
-
Failed electronic control board
-
Input reading out of range
-
Loose harness connection at the board
-
Power surge to the control
Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.
-
Turn the oven off at the breaker for five minutes.
-
Restore power and watch whether F1 clears.
-
Note whether the code shows at startup or during a cycle.
-
Keep the oven unused if the code stays.
-
Book service to test the control board.

Work was done well and technician was on time and communicative! I used texts and they were answered very quickly. I will use them again.

Ivan is the only repairman I would ever trust with our appliances! We have used him 3 times (for our dryer, our dishwasher, and most recently our oven). We called him when our oven unexpectedly stopped working and he got us scheduled right away and had it fixed immediately! He is prompt, incredibly knowledgable, very friendly, reasonably priced, and honest! Look no further if you have any appliance repair needs! Thank you again Ivan!! - Kate

Our ice maker in our GE Profile refrigerator stopped working. We contacted several vendors through Yelp and Esquire was quick to respond and were able to come out the next day. Our ice maker was back up and running right away! They were able to buy the proper part and install it all in one day. They were courteous and reasonably priced. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went.
