What 23E means.
23E flags a condenser-fan-motor fault. The condenser fan sits behind the bottom-rear access panel and pulls room air across the condenser coil to reject heat from the refrigerant. When the fan stops, the compressor overheats and the entire system shuts down to protect itself. 23E often appears alongside "fridge not cooling" complaints because the compressor cuts out shortly after the fan fails.
