Ice pipe heater fault. The water supply line is freezing up.
What 33E means.
33E points to the ice-pipe heater, a small heating element wrapped around the water supply line to the ice maker. Its job is to keep the line from freezing as it passes through the cold freezer section. When the heater fails (open-circuit) or the wire breaks, the line ices over and no water reaches the ice maker. The result is an empty ice bin plus 33E displayed. It is common on Samsung French door units in winter when kitchen temperatures drop.
