Bosch induction cooktops show an E-prefix or U-prefix code on the affected element display. The codes flag pan detection, an overheated element, a cooling fan fault or a control problem. Bosch gas cooktops have no digital codes.
Samsung
Samsung induction cooktops show a letter-led code on the element display for pan detection, overheating and control faults. Samsung gas cooktops have no digital code system.
GE
GE induction cooktops show a short code on the element display for pan detection, overheating and element faults. GE gas and standard electric cooktops have no digital code system.
Frigidaire
