No suitable cookware was detected on the element.
What PAN means.
A pan indicator on a Samsung induction cooktop means the element cannot detect compatible cookware. Induction needs a magnetic-base pan sitting flat and centered. The element will not heat with the pan missing, too small, or made of a material it cannot read. The indicator clears once a workable pan is placed.
