Freezer fan motor fault. The fan has seized, frozen up, or burned out.
What Er FF means.
Er FF flags a freezer evaporator fan motor fault. The fan that circulates cold air through the freezer has either seized, is blocked by ice, or its motor has burned out. Without it the freezer keeps making cold air (the compressor still runs) but the air does not move, so the freezer fills with frost and the fresh-food side warms up because no airflow reaches it.
Most common causes.

Control board fan-driver circuit failed.
Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.

Unplug the unit and remove all food and ice from the freezer.

Leave both doors open for at least 8 hours.

Keep towels around the unit to soak up melt water.

After 8 hours, towel out remaining moisture and plug back in. Wait 24 to 48 hours.

If Er FF returns within a week, the fan motor itself has failed.
