Ice maker not making ice.
Often the inlet valve, the mold heater, or a frozen fill line. We diagnose the ice maker in about 45 minutes and quote the repair in writing before any work.
Common causes for this symptom.

Water inlet valve failed.
The small valve at the back of the fridge that feeds water to the ice maker has stopped opening, common after a few years of mineral build-up.

Mold heater burned out.
The heater that warms the ice tray to release cubes is dead, so finished cubes never drop. Tray sits full but the maker thinks it is empty.

Ice maker control board fault.
The module that runs the harvest cycle is no longer firing. On most builds this is a single drop-in replacement, not a tear-down.

Water line frozen at the inlet.
The 1/4-inch fill tube has iced over. We thaw the line, find why it froze (often a damper or temp issue), and fix the root cause.
