LG Washer Error Code IE

The washer is not filling with water fast enough.
What IE means.
IE is an inlet fault. The washer expects the water level to climb within a set time, and when it does not the control posts IE. Most often the supply is restricted, the inlet screens are plugged with mineral scale or sediment, or the water valve has failed. A stuck pressure sensor can also report a low level even while the tub is filling.

Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.

Confirm both hot and cold supply valves are turned fully on.

Turn off the supply, unthread the fill hoses, and rinse the small inlet screens.

Inspect the fill hoses for kinks or crushing behind the cabinet.

Check that household water pressure is normal at a nearby sink.

Restart the cycle and watch that water enters the drum.
