SYMPTOM · WASHER · ORANGE COUNTY
Washer leaking under the unit.
Often the tub seal, the drain pump housing, an inlet-hose connection, or a torn door boot. We trace the source and quote the repair in writing before any work.
Common causes for this symptom.
-
Tub seal has failed.
The main shaft seal between the inner drum and the tub has worn through. Water reaches the bearing area and leaks down the spider. Job-of-the-day on aging top-loaders.
-
Pump housing cracked.
A hairline crack in the plastic drain pump body weeps water during the drain cycle. Often hidden behind the kick plate until you mop the floor.
-
Inlet hose loose at the connection.
The hot or cold fill hose at the back has a worn rubber washer or a loose clamp. Drips during fill, dries between cycles, fools you for weeks.
-
Door boot torn (front-load).
The rubber gasket around the door has a small tear at the bottom, usually from a bra wire or coin riding the seal. Water leaks at the start of every spin.

Ivan is the only repairman I would ever trust with our appliances! We have used him 3 times (for our dryer, our dishwasher, and most recently our oven). We called him when our oven unexpectedly stopped working and he got us scheduled right away and had it fixed immediately! He is prompt, incredibly knowledgable, very friendly, reasonably priced, and honest! Look no further if you have any appliance repair needs! Thank you again Ivan!! - Kate

Our ice maker in our GE Profile refrigerator stopped working. We contacted several vendors through Yelp and Esquire was quick to respond and were able to come out the next day. Our ice maker was back up and running right away! They were able to buy the proper part and install it all in one day. They were courteous and reasonably priced. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went.
