The vent system is about 80 percent blocked and airflow is low.
What d80 means.
d80 is an airflow warning, not a hard fault. The LG control measures how long the drum takes to reach temperature and estimates how restricted the exhaust path is. d80 means roughly 80 percent of the duct is obstructed. The dryer will usually finish the cycle but run long and hot. A heavily restricted vent traps lint and is a known fire risk, so the code should not be ignored.
Most common causes.

Clogged lint screen or a lint screen washed but not dried

Lint buildup inside the exhaust duct or the wall vent

A crushed or kinked flexible transition hose behind the dryer

A blocked or stuck exterior vent flap
Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.

Clean the lint screen and rinse off any fabric-softener film, then dry it fully.

Pull the dryer out and check that the transition hose is not crushed or kinked.

Disconnect the duct and clear lint from the duct run and the wall opening.

Go outside and confirm the exterior vent flap opens freely when the dryer runs.

Run a heat cycle and watch whether d80 returns or steps down.
