The drum drive system is not turning as the control expects.
What dS means.
dS is shown by some LG dryers when the drum is not rotating the way the control expects, or when the motor and drive feedback do not agree. A worn or broken drive belt is the most common reason the drum stops turning. A failed motor or a seized idler can also trigger it. The dryer will not run a cycle while the drum is not confirmed to be moving.

Listen for the motor humming while the drum stays still, which points to the belt.
