The door is open or the control does not see the door switch closed.
What dE means.
dE means the dryer does not detect a closed door. The control will not start or continue a cycle while this code is present because the drum should not turn with the door open. The cause is often a simple latch or strike problem, but a failed door switch or a broken wire will produce the same code. Some models display this as dE or door.
