Freezer evaporator sensor fault. The freezer defrost cycle is compromised.
What E07 means.
E07 is the freezer-side version of E05. The freezer evaporator coil sensor has failed, so the controller cannot tell when frost has cleared and falls back to a backup defrost timer. The freezer continues to cool but accumulates frost on the coil over a few weeks. Eventually airflow drops and ice-cream texture goes soft. On Freedom freezer columns E07 is one of the more common 7-year codes.

Sensor wire crushed under frost during a previous event.

Connector wet or corroded.

Board input failed.
Try this first: safe DIY troubleshooting.

If you see frost build-up at the rear wall of the freezer, schedule service immediately.

A manual defrost (24 hours unplugged with the door open) buys 2 to 4 weeks but the sensor still needs replacing.

Do not try to remove the rear freezer panel. Thermador foams it in.
